i have a question, what is mean by RANGE in forex market and how do they get the range for their trading guide, how to calculate range when we are on trading moment.

Hi Andrew,

Ranging is when market doesn't have a specific direction and goes up and down between two support and resistance levels. It is not possible to calculate or measure range because they are not the same. Bollinger Bands is a big help when market is ranging. When the upper and lower bands get so close to each other, market is ranging. A range can be different in different time frames. It can be from 20 pips in a small time frame to 80 pips in a big time frame.
