Hello Vahid
I'm wondering why at Forexoma we need this old and not functional platform, based on IE, in order to view it. I really hate it, I'm honest.
First of all I'm a proud Mac users, and this already force me to use a PC in order to view the Forexoma Analysis. But also when I'm using a PC, the Forexoma Analysis keeps giving pain to my humble trader life. For example I just have used a PC with a spanish keyboard, where in order to enter the @ symbol, one have to enter a combination of 3 keys together. Well this combination does not work on the platform, so i cannot enter my email address and I cannot access the platform.
Well many, many things are great at Forexoma, instead the program used to show the Live market Analisys it is just too old and I really hate it.
Sincerely
Max

Hi Max,

Sorry to hear that you have so many problems with the platforms. It seems we have to take a serious decision about it.

Is there anybody else who has the same or similar problems with the platform?

Because we have to run a program (.exe file) to access this area I can't do that at work. I've always found that an issue but appreciate that you have to find a way of limiting access to non subscribers. If you were able to do this with a web based solution, ie something that could be run in any browser, then this might solve Max's issue too. I know that the application you use for the forum can support restricted areas; you just have to add people who subscribe to a specific user group to allow them to access. Whether this is robust enough for you I don't know.

While I'm on I'd like to say that I think the videos are great because you are explaining so much detail and background in them. The only downside is that it isn't possible to quickly check what you said about a specific pair because we have to search through the video to find the right bit and then watch it through.
Once everything is settled and you have time to review the changes can I ask that you consider the possibility of a summary posting similar to the old market reports though perhaps briefer?

At some point I'd also love you to add to your list of videos one which discusses trend following and the 40 and 100 SMAs that you mentioned in a market report around October/November last year.

All the best

Michael

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your comment on this topic. I will think about this issue seriously.

Sure! I will have the summery of each pair that I discuss on the videos.

Lately I have problems with the platform. I can not download the videofiles anymore , instead it opens the mediaplayer to run the video. Perhaps it is a computer problem or do others have the same problem?

Greetings,

This should be related to a computer problem.

Hi Vahid

Personally I love the platform. I love the analysis you currently provide. It works for me.

One thing I would like know is that when a new video is posted I would like an email and sms alert sent .

If this is possible it would be advantageous to me (that is a bit big word for an Aussie after night shift lol)

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your comment.

Regarding the email or SMS when a new video is released, I am not sure if it is a good idea because having so many emails and SMS messages also makes some other members angry. The platform plays an audible sound when something new is added to it. So all you have to is having the platform always open on the background and also having the speakers on and it will inform you about the new videos or updates.

Hi Vahid
The only reason i ask is that I am out often and can be home in a short period of time if need be. I also have a pocket pc I carry with me that I can trade on. This is not always running my broker platform and your FLMA but I can log on and place a trade if I need to.
With the previous signals I was able to receive signals check charts and trade even while playing GOLF (which is often lol)
Just a personal thing...I can cope with the current arrangement though.

Cheers
dave

I would prefer not to have and email/SMS sent out when a new video is added... having the platform update, and having one sent out when there is a formed/forming trade setup is sufficient, I personally think.

Hi Dave,

As you see I am having the SL and targets on the signals again. Also the platform has become a web based platform which is much easier to handle. If you still need to be notified about the updated through email and SMS, please let me know.

Vahid,

For your info, the platform gives me an audible when a new update is posted but I did not get an audible on your recent buy signal. There used to be one saying we have a trade set up. Might want to check it out. I got the email though but I like that trade set up audible.

Bill

Well I'm not happy with my experience with this new platform so far.
Maybe just teething problems.
Using Firefox and after having to log in 3 different times, the index doesn't make sense. The last dated report is January 7th 2011. Now i know that Vahid has uncanny prediction powers - but is he giving trade set-ups a year in advance?

# Daily Report - January 07, 2011 is being updated...
# Weekly Report - January 09, 2010 (Last update: 11 January ; 01:15am ; EST)
# Daily Report - January 07, 2009 (Last update 08 January ; 02:35pm ; EST)
# Daily Report - January 06, 2009 (Last update 06 January ; 09:19pm ; EST)
# Daily Report - January 05, 2009 (Last update 05 January ; 11:32pm ; EST)
# Daily Report - January 04, 2009 (Last update 04 January ; 05:40pm ; EST)
# Weekly Report - January 02, 2010 (Last update: 03 January ; 09:28pm ; EST)

I tried to download a video earlier and had similar problem as with the OP. It required me to log in AGAIN and after an age, it didn't download the video, but opened the media player instead.

I have tried, but been unable to open it in IE at all. I'm not a lover of IE anyway!

I have accessed the platform with Firefox again and attempting to download the last video and it has opened the media player again, but not played anything back.

As you know, my internet connection is not that great, but I was able to work with the old platform. This one I cannot.
