I'm good Vahid

Its probably quiet here because of the Easter holidays. I'm off work and the kids are off school. I have spent even less time than usual on trading, and usually I don't get enough :(

I have also spent quite a lot of time looking at the daily range breakout. I took today's buy and got stopped at breakeven. I like the simplicity of this strategy but like all good systems I think I would need lots of practice to make it work consistently for me.

All the best

Michael

Hi Vahid,

I've been offline for a while, but I'm back again now. :)

We had quite a storm here a week or do ago and my internet antenna was struck by lightening. I wasn't using the computer at the time, but was inside the house - it was pretty frightening :o
Most of the charge did go to ground, but enough came down the cable to fry my modem and desktop. I've had to replace the modem and the computer shop is working through the computer to see if anything can be saved.
I'm using my 4 year-old laptop now, but it was so slow that I reformatted it and it has taken most of my internet bandwidth to download 4 years worth of updates over the last dew days!

As well as that, we have had no water supply in the village here for a few weeks. The only available water is from the old village hand pump. So I have to hand pump and carry the water that we use. As I have quite a large garden area, I need a fair amount for watering the plants, so have been feeling quite exhausted - especially as this is the hottest time of year!
We are going to get a borehole drilled to give us our own individual water supply, but it is Thai new year and everybody is on holiday now, so have to wait for at least another week.

Keith,

Welcome back!! You are a real survivor. If you can lick the effects of Mother nature, conquering the challenges of the forex market will be child's play... :D

I can only try to cope with what Mother Nature throws at us :)
6AM here now and just getting light. I'm off to pump some water before the Sun drags itself over the horizon and gets too strong

Bye

Hi Vahid, present and accounted for. So far I do like the simplicity of the intraday gbp range breakout strategy.I was able to capture a few pips from this morning's trade. So far so good.

Hi Vahid
I am still here following along. Been very busy the past couple months and unable to post, but i have been following along and enjoy the direction you have taken with pointing out forming and formed trade setups, but not holding our hand and telling us to buy now or sell now. It's the best way for us to learn. I also enjoy the extra video's such as those about your journey and how to become a trader. It really helps to get inside your head and see how you go about your day as a trader and how many trades you take or how you look for the trades that you actually take. Hopefully I will have the time to start posting and contributing more often

Wow Keith

That has made me realise how much I take for granted here! I complain about having to push a trolley in the supermarket and running out of ice for my drinks!!

I hope you are well and getting on top of things.

All the best

Michael

Yes, well said Michael, the trivial things we complain about, when others are truly struggling.
My thoughts are with you Keith
Cheers

Thank-you Michael and Ian :)

Hey, I hope that you aren't feeling sorry for me - if so, please don't.
In some ways I am fortunate to have regular reminders that so many things cannot be taken for granted. I am living the life that I choose and appreciate, how many people can say that ? :)
I have enough home comforts, satellite TV, internet (although it can be cranky) etc.
Most of the locals here earn 5 or 6 $US per day. The borehole and pump etc for a water supply will cost about 700 $US. As you can imagine, this is too much for many. I am lucky that I can afford to have this done.
My main problem at the moment is that there are just not enough hours in the day!
And here comes the appeal....
If anybody has a few leisure hours that they do not need, please send them to me as I find that 24 hours a day are simply not enough. Just an extra 6 hours per day would make such a difference and would you really miss them :D
If you can't spare any hours, maybe you have some rain that you don't need - it would be most welcome here just now.
Mind you, in 2 months time when the rainy season sets in, we will have way too much :)

Sorry about my weird sense of humour :)

Keith

Hi Vahid,

Good to see You again. I'm still sorting out now quite serious family issues so for the last week I didn't even open the trading station at all. I have read your article on discipline and is just confirming to me that discipline remains my primary problem. However thanks to You and your teachings I'm getting closer and closer.
I have read some worrying things (in this article about the discipline), You have said you may consider closing the service ??? I realise that you have to spend a considerable amount of time and still getting some unhappy customers who haven't found a Holly Grail here so they dump all their frustration on You. This frustration(most likely than not) is a primary function of a simple fact - lack of consistency in their trading so lack of consistent profits which are "seemingly" available 24hrs a day, 5 days a week.
I hope You care about them a less and will continue the service for rest of us who really want to learn from You.
For me stopping it now would be a disaster as I consider myself half-way through and still learning a lot from your analysis.
Is hard to express how much I owe to You vahid.
My all regards
Jarek

Dear Jarek,
Hi

Thanks for your support and for your kind words.

I hope all your issues become resolved as soon as possible and in the best way.

No, I do not want to cease the service because of some unhappy members that we have. Fortunately those are not even 1% of the members and I do know that they complain because they have a wrong impression about the forex market and forex trading.

I may stop the program in future to take a break. However, even if I stop it, I will start it again because as I said in a few occasions, pure forex trading as a business is not something that pleases me and I like to have something more than that. It makes money but money is not all you want to be happy. I am workaholic and I like to work and offer something as a product. Forex trading is a good business but it it is not productive.

By the way, I do not want to stop the program for now. So please don't worry.

Again, I appreciate your kindness, friendship and support :)

I mean it only makes money and it has no other fun. I personally like this web business more than forex trading.
