Trying to down load the indicator Halvard is using on my plat form, is the same process that Vahid has show us on down loading his indicator on to our plat form and if so it not working unless there more to it , halvard or anyone else who may have had some luck with the down load of this indicator would be helpful if there a step i miss or not doing right could assist me in the right direction.

Thank

Jerome

Hi Jerome!

You just download the indcators from this site, then unpack it..:-)

Here its a short explanation:

Copy the files under to: C:\Programfiler\FxPro MetaTrader\experts\indicators
or your location of metatrader...

!_rdb_Spread_Hi_Lo
#MTF Stochastic v2[1][1].0
#aaa_v02.ex4
FX5_MACD_Divergence_V1.1.ex4
THV3_Trix_v4.01_Div
Trendlines_Lnx_v1

Copy the files under to: C:\Programfiler\FxPro MetaTrader\templates
or your location of metatrader...

breakout.tpl

Then start you metatrader, now you can select Breackout from the Templates or just drag the indicators
you wanne use to you favoritt template..

Hope this helps?
Use winrar to unpack the files: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Best Regards
Halvard

Hi Halvard,

I would be grateful if you could send me the files for your indicator.

Thanks,

:? :? I am a newbie and quite stuck, I have downloaded MACD to my expert/indicator file. I find I have two entries one with a mq4 extention and one without, the same for RSI. However when I download Vahid's updates MACD and RSI are not on the new charts. If I put them on manually, I loose the support and resistance lines that were currently on the charts. Where have I gone wrong? Please help. Maddy

Hi

You have not gone wrong. When you download Vahids updates you overwrite any changes you made on the charts since the last download.
My solution for this was to have 2 copies of Metatrader. One with Vahids updates and the other with my own charts. I was then able to run them side by side and draw the support/resistance lines he had drawn onto my own charts without losing any changes.

To get a second installation you simply copy the whole Metatrader folder in your Program Files directory into a new directory and then run terminal.exe from that folder. You will have to re-enter your account details the first time you run it but after that it works like a dream.

Adding new indicators manually shouldn't remove existing lines etc unless you have saved the setup as a template and are re-applying that. Are you adding them by using Insert > Indicators from the menus?

All the best

Michael
