Hi There,
My name is Rob, i live in Hertfordshire in the UK and I've been with Vahid for only my 2nd month now and am enjoying his analysis, education and trade set-ups. I like Vahid's style of analysis - i believe support and resistance, trendlines to be one of the most important indicators in any type of trading. I would like to share what i have found to be a very good indicator that highlights "harmonic patterns". A good education web site is:
http://www.harmonictrader.com/whatht.htmI read halvardu's thread on his trading system (thanks for that Halvardu) and really like the tend line indicators he supplied and i agree that divergence is another very important factor in trading. The screenshot i have attached shows Halvardu's trendline indicators, the Harmonic indicator and a very good divergence indicator that can be changed to RSI, CCI, MACD, STOCHASTIC or MOMENTUM in it's properties. Also there is an automatic Andrews Pitchfork indicator (Vahid may interested in that one).
You will see by the screenshot how the Harmoic indicator at point D (red arrow highlighted) was in perfect allignment (resistance) with the trendline. Also divergence was indicated (yellow arrow) at the trendline. These Harmonic patterns appear in all charts and in my opinion are good reversal indicators.
Anyway, just thought i would share this with you - these are not my indicators, i found them whilst digging for info on harmonic patterns.
Feel free to ask any questions or if you would like the indicators.
Rob
