When to Take the Positions and What If You Are Late?

Forex Market Analysis and Signals | Tuesday, January 20th, 2009

Hello :)

Our last night trades made 473 pips. All of them triggered the target but just the USD/CAD triggered the stop loss at breakeven before it hits the target. I was right in predicting the direction of USD/CAD but I don’t know how it went down for about 80 pips to hit the stop loss that was moved to breakeven and then it kept on going up.

Some of you have problems in getting the signals on time. Please do not wait to receive the email. Sometimes they come with delay and sometimes they don’t come. So just make sure that you check my website for the signals at 22:00 GMT (17:00 EST) and find the page that the signals of the day/night will be posted on it (like this page). You will find the signals table empty (the below table) at 22:00 GMT but you need to come back every few minutes and check the table because I start checking the market right at 22:00 GMT and the signals will be posted from 22:00 GMT to 24:00 GMT. When I finish posting the signals I will announce on the same page that we are done for tonight and no more signal will be posted.

As soon as a new signal becomes appeared in the table you should take the position. Your entry price can be a little different from mine but it is ok if it is not more than 20 pips. If you are too late, then don’t take that position. If for example the signal says “Buy” and you see the price is lower than my entry price, this is even better and you can take it but if the price is 20 pips above my entry price do not take the position OR decrease your target. For example if my target is 100 pips and you are 30 pips late, take the position but set your target to 70 pips. Accordingly you have to have a proper trailing stop loss. My trailing stop for a 100 pips target will be 80 pips but if your target is 70 pips then your trailing stop has to be about 50 pips.

This is the same for the “Sell” signals. In sell signals if your entry is higher than mine it is even better and take the position but if the price is lower than my entry then decrease your target in the way that I explained.

Please make sure that you understand this. If not, just let me know to explain more.

Tonight’s signals will be posted in the below table.

Announcement (23:01 GMT, 20th Jan): Ok! We are done for tonight. No more orders.

Note:
1. Read the disclaimer before you use the below buy/sell signals.
2. If you have not received the below signals on time, just compare the current price with the entry price and do not take any position if the target is already triggered or the price is close to it.
3. Please note that some of the below signals are pending orders. So read all the explanations carefully before you take any position.
4. Cancel all the pending orders that are not triggered from the previous day.

Do you post the buy / sell signals for every trading day? To day is Jan 21 (in the US), but I dont see any signals for Jab 21 or Jan 22.

Hi Venkat,

Last night I could not post the signals because of some technical problems in the weblog. The Control Panel was hacked and I could not have access to it.

Sorry about that.

Best regards,
Forexoma

Hi Forexoma,

I managed to make 335 pips on 21 January with your signals, I was lucky in some cases, to be looking as they turned and partly lucky because I placed my orders 4 hours later at 02:00 GMT as I got up at 04:00 my time, so the time difference worked for me luckily! Some I could not take because they had moved too far, but I am really happy with what I did make.

Thank you very much. I am still analysing your decisions to see what makes you choose the trades, I am still figuring this out.

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

That’s great. You were luckier than me because as soon as I closed so many trades manually they started moving to my direction. All of them could hit the target if I didn’t close them but as you said it was just luck. In many cases when a trade becomes close to the target and returns we really have to close it.

Best regards,
Forexoma
